Hi, I’m Sophie - the artist behind Pink Willow Fine Art. I’m a 26-year-old, self-taught artist who specialises in hand-drawn pet portraits using graphite and coloured pencils. My passion is capturing the personality and charm that make each beloved animal unique.

I’ve loved drawing for as long as I can remember, but I started taking it seriously when I was 15. The idea of selling my art never crossed my mind until a friend asked me to draw her new puppy in 2019. I set up my online shop shortly after, and I’ve been creating custom portraits ever since.

When you commission a portrait, I work from your photographs to create something personal. I mostly focus on face portraits, but I’m always happy to draw-full body pieces too. I love adding extra touches like a beloved toy or a favourite blanket to make a portrait even more special. My goal with every portrait is to create something special that celebrates the uniqueness and personality of your pets - something you’ll treasure for years to come.

Outside of my art, I’m usually doing something creative - crocheting, knitting, or working on a new craft project. I also enjoy keeping active at the gym or walking my energetic Border Collie, Pippin, who also keeps me company while I work.
